Tech Connect - Seattle 2026

I have spent the last week in Seattle attending TechConnect, Microsoft’s internal technical skilling event, together with colleagues from a variety of my current and earlier teams and product groups.

In the era of agentic automation and remote work, the most valuable aspect of these events is the opportunity to meet in person and build with colleagues we spend much of our work (and life) with. Working remotely in Microsoft is great and allows people living in unlikely places like me to have the same opportunities that those living in big capitals, but having the chance to share some drinks around a table sparks insightful conversations that wouldn’t have happened online, deepening both professional and personal connections that later pay off in future remote collaborations.

It was extremely rewarding experiencing the behind-the-scenes aspects of such a massive event. I want to thank my peers who made it possible with their patience and support, even during times when getting prepared was not easy for me personally. It was an opportunity to co-present with Ali, Madan and Aadharsh about agent evaluations, a topic I am quite enthusiastic about. You will listen more about agent evals from me over the next few months, a new but emerging topic that is essential for safe and secure agent adoption.

Next stop: Saturday 21st I will be presenting in Global Power Platform Bootcamp Alicante at Parque Cientifico de Alicante (PCA). We will discuss about The Copilot Studio and Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and when to use what. (I should prepare something about agent evals for next year 🙃)
